Google has now officially launched a dedicated YouTube app for the iPad following earlier versions for iPhone and iPod.
Apple dropped the default YouTube app some months ago forcing iOs tablet users to access the video portal using a regular browser.
Now Google has released a new app making access easier. Features include voice search and query autocomplete; video sharing to Google+, E-mail, Facebook and Twitter; subscribe to channels and instantly access your subscriptions with the channel guide UI and read comments, browse related videos, enable subtitles and more – all while watching.
Google also introuced the possibility to put ads with the videos, a feature which was not available with the original Apple YouTube app.
The YouTube app is now available in the store.
